The Unconditional Love Of An Animal

There is nothing on this planet like the unconditional love of an animal. The positive effects, animals have on most people are beyond words. They offer us moral support and a welcome soothing when life may get hard or uncomfortable. Always at our side, their affection transcends any boundaries.

How can such powerful love affect us? Why are some of them showing such unrestricted affection? Are all animals capable of loving? And what makes it so unique to us, human beings?

Well, at first hand, an animal can provide unconditional love, hugs, and kisses for many people who never received affection their whole lives. Animals even help you live longer. Their life can heal yours. And there are proofs of this statement all over the world. It comes to no surprise to me that a scientific study proved, what many have known all along: animals are capable of great acts of love.

And all of us had the experience of the emotional, sentimental, and almost gravitational pull of an animal’s touch. It is an incredible feeling to play with a dog, cuddle with a cat, ride a horse or bond with a bird. Even watching a video about a wild animal getting her young out of a sticky situation touches us. So, animals have an extraordinary healing power that goes beyond what we can imagine.

Let’s Care More
Most of you know the love an animal can have. You know the feeling. It is the touch of a wet nose rubbing your face or the sound of a concerned whimper when you are sad. Or it is also the jump on your laps or the absolute happiness when they see you. But it is even more profound when you look into their wide and compassionate eyes. They then seem to understand you on the deepest level.

So, if you are an animal lover, you already know it to be true. Animals are capable of deep, unconditional love that is way beyond what you and I can feel. Yet, there is a cliché linked to animals waiting for adoption in shelters across the world. It looks, for many of you, that you believe an animal in a shelter is there just because it is undesirable or broken in some way.

But nothing is further from the truth. It is a fact that only five out of every ten animals in shelters never leave alive. In my life, I saw animals that were so starved, so thin, so abused, so neglected. Those are the ones who have seen the absolute worst of humanity. And yet somehow, they find the strength to live; not only to live but to forgive, trust and give unconditional love once again.

The Unconditional Love of an Animal

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress is judged by the way its animals are treated.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Some scientific studies show that animals feel love in the same way people do; through a chemical process. When you hold an animal, like your pet, your cat, dog, horse and many other creatures of the animal kingdom, something magical happens. It releases the same hormones that you do when you are in love.

As a result, there is really no love like the unconditional love of an animal. An innocent creature, which is not of the same species, decides to snuggle with you when you feel sad or play with you when you are in a bad mood. And sometimes they even give their own life to protect you. They do not have to do it, yet they still do. Animals know that you are unique to them and very often, you are their whole world. So be always kind!

The Magic of Loving an Animal
I do love all animals. They are beautiful creatures that deserve their place in this world. And I realized that loving an animal changes a person’s life as well as mine. Whether they are an army, service, therapy, farm, wild animal, or just your pet, the love you have for them is unique. But the extraordinary love you receive back is one of the purest feelings on this planet.

When I was growing up, I was one of those children that would bring abandoned, hurt or lost animals of the street. I would come back home with them. My mother’s answer was often no. So, being a rebellious child, I would take them anyway to our horse barn. And then take care of them there until they recover. However, the older I got, the more I began to realize the cruelty and abuse animals were enduring, and it hurt.

Of course, I wanted to do my part to help these poor innocent souls. So I began to work with them before and after school, and during the summer also. But throughout my life, I drifted back and forth. I worked as a zookeeper for big cats in Colorado. And I then got a job as an assistant surgeon for a veterinarian. But it was not for me. Now, their unconditional love took over again, and I am back.

The Motives of Unconditional Love
Surely, you heard a wolf howl longing to the moon, but do you know why? Wolves cry out from sorrow when they miss an absent member of their pack. Some dogs will not leave the side of their owner’s grave. Did you ever see your pet yawn also when you do? Well, it is meant to be a sign of adoration for you, its owner.

And what is it when your cat relaxes lazily in a sunny spot of the house, makes eye contact with you across the room and then blinks gently? In cat body language, a slow, deliberate blink means an expression of total trust, vulnerability, and friendliness. Otters hold hands while they sleep and rest, to prevent clans from losing each other. Rats have been known to free other rats from their cages.

Elephants also possess unconditional love. They are emotional creatures and show compelling acts of affection when, for example, grieving for a lost loved one. Some even die of broken hearts after the death of another. These gentle souls stand over the remains, weeping for several minutes to numerous days. They will also go so far as to bury the bodies under leaves. And those are not the only animals that show incredible feelings and cleverness.

The Human and Animal Worlds
The separation between the human and animal worlds is not as extensive as you might think. Animals hold such wisdom and power. And when we interact with them, they often sooth our pain and problems that we feel are all too overwhelming.

Therefore, the most magical aspect of your human-animal connection is this unspoken language that you share with them. It fosters trust and affection that never wavers or fades. Studies show that petting and spending time with an animal inevitably decreases the levels of stress running through your body.

So, the more affection, care, and attention that you give to an animal or pet, the more you receive a lot of devotion in response. As a result, there is nothing that equals the unconditional love of an animal. And I believe that we have a lot to learn from them.

It Is Unconditional Love
Seriously now, who else will accept you just as you are? Who else will welcome you, no matter what your circumstances? Where will you be greeted with such eagerness, the moment you step through the door?

You and I can always try our best to give such type of love to our partners, friends, and family members, but with little success. In this world, no one else can drop everything on the spot and shower you with worship and adoration the way that an animal does. They are truly special angels we should cherish.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”- Anatole France

Since they do give us unconditional love until the day that they die and even after, think to pet, talk and spoil animals with adoration as much as you can. Tell them how much you love them. Remember that their unreserved affection for you is a special bond of nature, even if you are soul mates of a different type!

Animals Love Better Than Humans Do

Even after all years of evolution, one thing remains true: animals love better than humans do. We think ourselves at the top of the food chain. However, the animal kingdom still surpasses us in many ways. These wonderful creatures which many of us do not appreciate enough can teach us so much.

Can an animal really love better than a person does? What about the way your dog, cat or other pet acts? Do animals have the ability to feel, care for us and have emotions?

Not only animals love us but they have the capacity to have feelings and also express their affection for one another. Although they may convey it in different ways, the aspect of love is pretty obvious when you take a look at them. The bond they create shows evidence that they can experience many of the same emotions humans do.

But so many people are still cruel and insensitive towards animals and greedily destroy their lives or habitat. Yet, most wildlife will usually leave us alone. I am not a people hater, but needless to say, I often prefer the company of animals. And to me, it is a pity that humans do not act more like them.

“There are more dangerous humans on earth than dangerous animals.” – Anthony Douglas Williams

Animals Love Better
Animals love you unconditionally no matter what; surely when it comes down to our pets! No matter how you may feel at the moment, your animal is always there for you. Regardless of your physical appearance or mood, they are and will always love you.

So, animals often care more than humans. They have more personality, integrity, empathy, and loyalty than most people I know. And that is what family is really all about, isn’t it? Our pets have no greed, no malice, just love to give. And then we call them the animals.

And yes, for me, it is simply more comfortable to be around animals than to be around people. Let me ask you this: “How many persons in your life caused you to feel disappointment and betrayal? I can recall so many, but I rarely felt that way with an animal. Thus, animals love you in a truer manner.

“If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.” – James H.

Learn Life from Animals
One of the things I like most about animals is how much I learn about life from them every day. You can never know absolutely everything about any single creature on earth. Animals have infinite and immeasurable qualities. They are an endless yet enjoyable miracle of nature. On the other hand, sadly enough, you can know more about some people who you want to, just under a few minutes.

Since early childhood, I love and respect animals. They are never deceitful, insincere, cunning, manipulative, or mischievous unless they are strictly provoked or in the wild. Animals love and too frequently forgive humans for unspeakable treatment. Besides, they would never take up hunting people simply for fun, yet many individuals believe it to be a sport. It is sickening!

And animals have an incredible intuition. They can sense everything about you, from illness to your emotional state and when you are not paying attention. Dogs even know when you lie to them. So, it is no wonder that these incredible creatures are considered our best friends for the past ten thousand years.

The Bond of Eternal Love
The bond you create with animals is unbreakable, which is often not the case with humans. The more time you spend with an animal, the more of a connection is formed and that link keeps growing with time. And this bond you share becomes so rewarding and shows you that animals love better than humans do.

The unconditional affection you experience becomes worthwhile as you understand the animal’s personality, feelings, actions, desire, and motivation. You can even sense whether they are sad, happy, angry or annoyed. If you have a pet, you know that the bonds you create with them are the most unforgettable.

My trust in animals and love for them frequently helps me in my interactions with humans. It is my duty as an animal lover to honor their indestructible affection and express my gratitude to them. They are an important part of the world and they are not made for our pleasure only.

Animals and Humans
Animals deserve our respect and admiration. They are a peaceful company, do not talk incessantly, nor offer unwelcome advice or even worse, tell us what to do. Besides, they do not suddenly have to text someone or get a call while you are out together.

And these wonderful creatures bring us comfort during unhappy times in our lives. It does not matter if you are going through rough periods or are experiencing stressful moments. You know they always bring you joy or a smile. Just knowing animals love you and are always there to welcome you when you come home, making life much easier and happier.

Besides, I am not the only person in rating animals over humans, especially when it comes to showing compassion and rescuing them. A study shows people feel more empathy towards a hurt animal or abandoned puppy than for a grown-up human. Most of us are hard-wired to care more about animals and infants, and wanting to step in.

Animals Love More than You Deserve

“I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.” – Abraham Lincoln

One of the best feelings you know, if you have an animal, is when you come home. It does not matter if you left for fifteen minutes; your pet is just thrilled to see you home. Your animals are always waiting for you. There is no doubt that their world revolves around you but your world would not be the same without their love.

And so, it has been scientifically proven that animals love and make humans happier and healthier. Knowing that they are always there for you through the good and bad times means so much, doesn’t it?

There is no doubt in my mind that animals love better than humans do. You and I can learn so much from them. Yet, their unconditional love is something we can only try to rival with and emulate. So, be always kind to animals because they love you more than you deserve and more than humans will ever do.

Animal Communication Can Help Traumatized Animals

You can’t tell just by looking at a cat or dog, but PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) can affect animals as well as humans.

Loss of one’s human family and home due to floods, fires, earthquakes, and other natural situations are on the rise for animals.

Imagine if you experienced this loss, and then someone picked you up off the streets, put you in a cage, and sent you far away from your home so you’d never be able to find your human family again.

And many animals are moved around from shelter to shelter, while others are killed (euthanized is not a correct term here) out of so-called kindness.

This is the situation experienced by many displaced animals today. With the best of intentions, they are shipped by rescue organizations all over the US.

Their emotional state is often not taken into account, partially because many humans still don’t understand that animals feel just as humans do.

When you open your heart to adopt someone at a rescue shelter, you may sense right away that the animal is in an enormous amount of emotional pain.

You may want to help, want to connect with them. You may feel drawn to adopt that person in fur or feathers.

But once s/he arrives at your home with you and your family, the steps necessary for healing are not always obvious.

Since each case is different, general suggestions, such as “give the new animal his/her own space” or “be very patient with the animal” are great, but may not move the animal forward as effectively as having a professional animal communicator connect telepathically with the animal.

A Professional Animal Communicator has special abilities that are very helpful to the animal:

  • the ability to sense and feel the animal’s energy.
  • the ability to experience the animal’s perspective viserally and emotionally.
  • the ability catch glimpses of the animal’s inner emotional state, even when they may be deeply hidden.
  • The ability to help the animal communicate with their new human companions to facilitate mutual understanding.

Most animals respond well to someone making a telepathic connection, in part because it may be the first time they have ever experienced this and don’t have any old baggage around it.Of course, that doesn’t mean the animal is going to open up and pour out their life history.

Just as you may find it too difficult to talk about your own life traumas, animals often feel the same way. But just knowing that someone can listen and understand helps many animals begin to open up again.

When you’ve been traumatized, trust is at a minimum or gone, and rebuilding trust can take a very long time.

Still, in a telepathic conversation, it’s possible to encourage an animal to begin to consider the possibility that their life situation is improving and their feelings will be respected.

When you’re in a state of PTSD, the feeling of having no control and of being powerless makes recovery feel hopelessly impossible.

In contrast, an Animal Communicator can ask the animal what will make him/her more comfortable. An Animal Communicator can encourage the animal to take some first steps towards healing.

Combining Animal Communication with Energy Healing and with The Emotion Code™ technique (of Dr. Bradley Nelson) brings together 3 powerful tools to help an animal transform back to feeling good about life.

So if you’ve recently brought home a new animal companion whom you suspect has some serious trauma in his/her past, consider Animal Communication and Energy Healing for your new family member.

5 Benefits of Raising Pets With Children

Pets Are Constant Companion

Your child is bound to get bored and lonely. This happens most when you are raising a single child. However, having a pet around helps your child to have a constant companion in the house.

Pets also can match the energy and excitement level of a child. A human adult can never match the energy and enthusiasm a pet, in the form of a dog, has. The pet can keep your child busy and engaged. It can be your child’s constant playmate without getting bored.

Increase Your Child’s Activity Level

In the era of smart-phones and tabloids there are chances that your child might become less active. However, a recent study has shown that the kids, who own a dog, exercise eleven minutes more on average, than non-dog owning kids.

Eleven minutes might sound quite less but also when you add up the figure in terms of weeks and month you realize the benefits. A pet in the form of a dog really helps your child to walk the extra mile and keep him/her active.

Grows Responsibility

Children with pets become more responsible than the others. It keeps them alert whether the dog or the cat got their share of food or water. They also tend to share more than the other kids.

The kids learn to be accountable of someone else. In that way they grow up to be more responsible adults. They learn fast that how the pets are dependent on the human beings and from that understanding, the attachment develops.

Makes them Empathetic

Pets also teach your children to become empathetic and kind towards others. Kids without any kind of pets tend to become cruel or repulsive towards other animals. However, kids having pets like dogs or cats tend to care more for others.

The responsibilities of owning a pet makes them accountable and their self-esteem also increases. They grow-up to be dependable adults than kids who don’t own a pet. By keeping in mind their pet’s feeding and grooming routines, they also learn to keep track of their own routines.

Makes them Healthier

Studies have shown that there are also certain health benefits of having pets. Babies who are being raised near pets tend to fall less sick than the babies who are not. Pets, especially dogs, carry certain microbes from outside into your home. These microbes tend to help your baby by improving their immunity.

Tips To Organize Living With Multiple Pets

A family with a lot of furry members is really a heavenly abode with lots of enjoyment every day. However, with it comes – greater responsibilities, as the pet family requires lot of care and efforts to keep them all fit and fine, maintaining their overall wellbeing. Whether you have to take care of two kitties or a pack of four dogs or a whole farm, you need to take care of each vital thing ranging from food, preventive medications, and litter boxes to beds and toys.

Here are a few tips that fully aid you in organizing your day to day activities for taking care of multiple pets. Following the tips, you can definitely have time for yourself along with having a quality playtime with your furry pal.

Arrange for Multiple Beds

Having multiple pets in your home means a special place to provide all for a nap. Get beds for each and every pet in your home. Multiple bed will discourage pets from laying or bouncing on sofas.

Protect Furniture

It is crucial to cover your furniture. Tiny dog or cat hairs are more likely to get easily stick to the furniture. Cover them with fleece blankets and throws on tables, chairs and couches to keep pet hair to minimum. Additionally, when it comes to your car, it’s good to cover the seat in order to keep that mud away in case your dog must have brought it from the dog park.

Keep Food in Air-Sealed Containers

Different pets mean different requirements of various kinds of foods. To easily recognize the food, it is better to label the plastic bins for different food types. Ensure to store them in a pantry or in a kitchen counter shelf. Keep it away from damp place and check that it is not accessible to your furry pal or either to your children. Ensure that you keep the feeding place well organized and mess free. To avoid fights among your pets, maintain a feeding schedule.

Separate Feeding Locations

You are wrong if you are thinking that there is no need for separate feeding locations for your multiple pets. It is to avoid food hostility as dogs and cats are quite territorial so try to feed pets in different rooms. Some pets may go along well, but if it seems there is some tension, then it is better feed them at separate places. This helps to avoid unwanted accidents.

Keep A Folder for Pet Records

Don’t mess your pets’ medical records. Organize different pets’ health records including vet visits, adoption papers, vaccination cards, microchip registration, licenses and pet insurance policies in different folders for various pets. It would be quite helpful in case of any emergency.

Provide Litter Box for Each Cat

Cats are inclined too much towards cleanliness. They are too picky about clean litter boxes. Provide each of your cat a separate litter box, which they are sure to appreciate. If you want them all to use litter box, then it is better to provide them each a separate one.

Stock Up First Aid Kit

Always have your pet’s first aid kit in handy. With so many pets in the house, there can be accidents at some times. Providing them first aid will largely cut on the vet bills. The important things that your pet’s first aid box should include are Gauze of various sizes; scissors; first-aid tape; wound disinfectant; antibiotic ointment; eye wash solution; hydrogen peroxide; cotton balls or swabs; cortisone spray or cream; thermometer.

Parasitic Preventive Treatments

A home with multiple pets mean that there is a huge probability of spreading disease due to fleas, ticks or worms from one animal to another. Missing treatment of flea and tick infestation or heartworm preventive for a few of them is of no use as gradually they too will be infected by the infected animals, and the cycle of recurring infestation will continue. Treating all the pets in the household will deploy the occurrence of parasitic infestations.

Multiple pets mean taking various responsibilities and providing the best care. Always keep a stock of essential medications including preventive treatments along with proper food and nutritional supplements. This ensures a great health and happiness for your big family of humans and four-legged companions.

How To Accomplish A Stress-Free Removal Of Pets In 2018?

Shifting your house can be a highly demanding and tough process. After all, you have to think about a lot of things while relocating. There are many items you would have to get rid of. You should hire a good removals service provider who appoints honest, hardworking and good movers.

If you have a pet in your home, it can be even more difficult. Your pet will also observe the relocation. Pets can develop a strong bond with its environment and so moving a house can be pretty stressful. Since they are so used to their existing home, a sudden change like this can be tough to get used to. When you plan well in advance, your pets can have a smooth transition in between the two homes. Since it can be a traumatic period for you, it is better to have one less worry at this stage of your life. However, when you follow the following easy tips, your experience of house removals can be hassle-free. In fact, it can even be an enjoyable experience for everyone who is involved in this process.

Get In Touch With A New Vet Near Your Target Location Prior To The Move
You need to ensure that there is a good vet in your new locality. Getting in touch with a new vet in your new neighborhood is as crucial as locating a trustworthy and reputable general practitioner. After all, your pet may even get hysterical initially as it may find it tough to get used to the new surroundings. If you wish to be well-prepared, make sure that your pet is registered with a new vet prior to the relocation process. In case, anything awkward does take place, there would not be any delay for lack of registration.

Get An Essentials Box For Your Pet
It is not an uncommon phenomenon to see your packed boxes getting disorganized and cluttered, especially on the first day after you shift to your new house. When you have a box exclusively for storing your pet’s essentials such as their favorite toys and food, it will ensure that you are better organized and help the pet to settle in a much better way in your new home. You should ensure that this box is properly labeled. Make sure that the box is easily accessible during the shift.

Alter The Details Of Your Pet’s Microchip
Did your pet undergo a microchip implant? If so, you should ensure that you have updated the microchip with your new contact details and address as quickly as possible. It is extremely crucial since your pet may take it in its head to explore the new locality and get lost while you are busy with arranging and unpacking.

Begin Your Packing Early
If you commence panic packing at the last minute, it may come as a big surprise and shock for your pet. You should also try and let them get habituated to the packing exercise by beginning early and not at the last minute. If you follow this, the constant movement of furniture and boxes on the actual moving day will not appear strange and your pet will not be unnecessarily panicked. Your pet should be staying in the company of familiar family members.

Just as you do it with your small kids, you should try keeping the pets in the company of familiar family members rather than letting them stand and watch the shifting progress.

Try To Keep Certain Things Constant In Your Pet’s Life
It is expected that your pet may need a while to get used to the new locality and house. You can actually help them in getting them habituated up their new surroundings. Make sure that certain aspects of its life are constant so that it can have an easy transition. For instance, keep the time for its walking and feeding the sane. Try to arrange its bedding in the same position even in your new home. All these actions are useful in downplaying the change of place.

Animals Are Way Smarter Than We Think

Since childhood, I firmly believe that animals are way smarter than we think. And that we human beings, as a species, are just being too arrogant. Scientific evidence proves that our planet is not the epicenter of the solar system, but today it also shows that we are not the only center of intelligence.

But what are considered levels of intelligence? How and who defines them? Do you think that some animals are way smarter than some people?

Throughout my experiences, I do believe so. Just because animals cannot speak or read, for instance, does not automatically indicate that they cannot think or feel. When comparing one species of animals to another, or even to humans, we can see different degrees of intelligence.

So, we are deceiving ourselves into thinking that, for thousands of years we are more intelligent than the rest of the animal kingdom. And that, despite growing evidence these days to the opposite. Of course, I do not deny that we, human animals, are smart when it comes to doing what needs to be done to survive. But other species may be way smarter than we are, believe or think.

Intelligence is Relative
Numerous animals have exceptional brains, but most people purely misunderstand many of their abilities. There are now facts that crows, dogs, octopuses or koalas, just to name a few, reveal superior intelligence. It is widespread truth in the animal kingdom. In some cases, animals possess greater reasoning faculties than any human being. So, some of them are probably way smarter.

And some of their actions or behaviors cannot merely be considered instinct. When we look at various animals, we often cannot do what they do. Sometimes, the way they act or the things they do are very complicated, like a bat flying in the dark. These creatures can capture flying insects in midair directly with echolocation.

So, it does not only takes instinct but a lot of brainpower to realize such feat. Yet we do not pay attention to these kinds of things because we think it is irrelevant. Most people do not evaluate the skills of animals, but rather compare them to ours in term of intelligence. As long as they cannot reason, speak, or read, then they must not be as bright as we are.

Outlining Who is Way Smarter
Through the ages, the ruling classes, from religion to scholars, do repeat that same belief: “We, humans are incomparable because we are the cleverest being in the animal kingdom.” They also pretend that animals have no soul or feelings. However, science and life show us that animals do have feelings, a soul, and reasoning faculties which makes them way smarter than we think.

So, this belief of thinking that we are superior in intelligence goes back some ten thousand years ago. It started when man created agriculture, farms, and domestication of animals. It then gained momentum with the beliefs of religion, which regarded humans as the principal species in creation.

But does it mean that our intelligence is at a higher level? Of course not; they are just of different types. When a foreigner tries to talk to you using an imperfect, flawed or broken version of your language, your first impression is that they are not very smart. But the truth is entirely different.

The Unconditional Love of Animals
When it comes to animals, they are way smarter than what we tend to give them credit for. They are just smart on their own terms, which often look nothing like yours or mine. I believe we can learn a lot of things from them such as love, empathy, and compassion. So when they care, you can witness that they genuinely do; it is not just a fake disguise like human beings do.

Of the animal kingdom, some of these beings love humans unconditionally. However, a lot of people still abuse and mistreat such affection. When something happens to us, animals do not put us down, push us aside or suddenly decide not to love us anymore. That attitude only shows that they are way smarter than we are.

No matter the circumstances, they are there at our side until the end, and too often, we take this for granted. Yet, some people have no problem getting rid of an animal when it does not fit their life or agenda anymore. And we are supposed to be the most intelligent species on this planet; think again!

The Intelligence of Animals
Every day, our pets communicate with us through their demands and make us do things they desire. The animal world is much more complicated than we seem to believe or think. My father is a racehorse trainer, so I grew around horses and lived for many years in an apartment over a racehorse stable. Cats and dogs were also an integral part of my life like with any standard equine barn.

In the 60’s, there were no smartphones or sophisticated cameras to make videos in seconds. But all of my life, I witnessed behaviors, intelligence and memory tricks from animals. The following story is a perfect example of it.

One day, my father bought a racehorse named “Murdoch” from another city, twenty miles away. After a few days, he took the horse to the track to train him. While galloping, a tractor made an enormous noise which scared the animal, and its rider fell off. The horse, then alone, dashed across the track and jumped over the barrier disappearing into the woods.

A Story of Being Way Smarter
It was time to get in the car. I rode along, at my father’s side, to look for the horse. We searched everywhere but to no avail. A few hours later, on our return to the barn, the former owner called. In amazement, she told my dad that the animal was at her ranch.

So, it meant that the horse galloped over roads and through woods to get back to his previous barn without a single scratch. Somehow, he figured how to do twenty miles of unknown territory and return where he came from. Not only the horse did this, but because of cameras around the ranch, we were able to see how he did enter the horse farm.

When arriving at the front entrance, the animal saw that it was closed. So it went around the back, pushed the small gate and climbed the steps standing in its way. Then found an open stall, entered it and waited there, knowing that it was the only home he knew.

Animals Are Way Smarter
Animals are amazing and deserve as much respect as people for their memory, intelligence, tenacity and unconditional love.

  • Horses, dogs, and cats, among many species that spend time around people, can recognize body language signs that you or I do not pay attention to.
  • Primates such as chimpanzees can easily beat people at remembering a series of numbers that they saw for a fraction of a second.
  • Octopuses learn to open childproof caps on medication bottles, which many of us cannot unlock.
  • Bats do map out space with echolocation and sonar.
  • Birds figure out and understand the complex mechanics of flying and landing.
  • Crows, pictured in horror movies for stupid reasons, are not just among the most intelligent birds, but they are way smarter than most creatures. They can accomplish tasks that three and four-year-old children have trouble doing.

Animals Have Feelings
While they have different brain structures, experts estimate that animals such as crows and apes handle and use a combination of mental tools. It even includes imagination and the expectation of potential future events so that they can solve problems.Again, I witnessed some crows learning how to use cars for cracking nuts. They wait patiently at intersections while keeping watch on the traffic lights. So, when the traffic stops they retrieve a nut that vehicles crushed, which they have put earlier on the road.

Furthermore, it is now evident that elephants grieve. Most mammals feel joy, love, and sadness or suffering. Once, in Ukraine, my mother in law took home a stray cat that was living on a hospital ground. It was not a small kitten but a full grown cat. The cat was now living with her countryside house fifteen miles away from the hospital, and he looked unhappy.

Give Animals Credit
One day, she opened the door, and the cat flew by her, running away into the fields. Ten days later, thinking that she lost the animal forever, it showed up on the hospital ground. The animal had lost a lot of weight and seemed to suffer a minor injury, but he was alive. He had found his way home through fields and against unbelievable obstacles.

So, human beings have to stop this obsession of comparing animals to human aptitude. We pick things that we are good at, like technology or language. And we then associate it with intelligence to other species of our world. But animals are way smarter than we think. So, let’s think twice before making any assumption and give them the credit they deserve.

Animals Deserve Respect As Much As People

In this beautiful world, animals deserve respect as much as people. They have as much right to live as us, human beings. It is our world, but it is their world too. So, this planet belongs to all creatures living on it. Yet, many are against this notion, since they believe that animals do not have feelings or a soul.

Are we to have all the rights, just because we are at the top of the food chain? Does that give humans the right to remove animal privileges? Didn’t we learn our lesson through countless wars?

It seems not! A lot of people still do not get it, like a child who never learns. Animals have rights. And they surely deserve respect, so they can live their lives free from suffering, abuse, and mistreatment. A life is a life, and it should be valued. Animals cannot speak for themselves and for that reason we have to be their voice and care for them.

So, protecting them is something you and I should be proud of. As individuals, it is our responsibility. All creatures have the right to be free of persecution, cruelty, captivity, exploitation, and abuse by people. When we respect the well-being of animals, we restore balance in natural preservation.

Animals Deserve Respect

“Each and every animal on earth has as much right to be here and have respect, and love, as you and me.” – Unknown

Yet, too many think that animals are on this planet for us to exploit, dominate, use and rule over them. A lot of us believe that we are above it all, but we have so much to learn. However, there are also those who do think that animals deserve respect as much as people.

So, I am one of those people who firmly believe animals should have a better place in our world. They are sentient beings. We should protect them the same way we look after a disabled child. Both of them do not have the same conscious principles that we do. But they still need to be loved, cared for, protected and respected.

Blind to the Truth

Just because animals cannot tell us how they feel, it does not mean that they have no rights. One day our sun will expand, and that will be the end of us. Yet, we cannot get away from a fact. It is we people who are defining which criteria to put on worth. But who gave us such a privilege?

In my opinion, I believe that animals hold a special place in our world and some of them, especially our pets, become family members. They do not have a voice to speak up for themselves, so they deserve respect and to be saved. And I believe that we, as people should do that for them.

Of course, I do not believe that animals need to rule human society. But does it give us the right to be cruel, kill, abuse, starve, torture or slaughter other living creatures? It is illegal to kill another person, but somehow, it is okay to hurt, mistreat or kill animals. How is that any less bad? Most of us are blind to the truth.

Animals and the Arrogant Species

“Animals are the real victims on this earth. They do not declare war, they do not have weapons, and they do not want to destroy humans, or impose religion. Yet, for some people, their only crime is that they exist.” – The Author SVB

In truth, we are an arrogant species, entitling ourselves to be superior to all other species and lowering any other classes. Most people claim that animals do not have feelings or have a soul. They believe them to be worthless, and only here to provide food and needs for us, human beings.

Since I am a child, I always rebelled and wondered why man believes he is at the top of the food chain. We are not faster, stronger or even brighter than a lot of animals. Of course, we can reason and have a great deal of intelligence at our disposal. But then again we are also the only arrogant species who have so little respect and is bent on killing the very planet that sustains our lives. So, to me, this kind of intelligence looks more like stupidity.

Animals Do Have Feelings

Despite all the things that happen in our world, our lack of consideration and awareness in this matter shows that we are not as evolved as we should be. It begins by giving equal attention towards animals as well as towards our fellow men. Some people are now strating to wake up to these facts, but we still have a long way to go.

So, all animals deserve respect because they can suffer and sense pain in the same way and to the same degree that you and I do. They can feel happiness, pain, fear, pleasure, care, sadness, loneliness, and motherly love. They understand more than what we give them credit for.

Animals are also living creatures. Why do people feel they are better is beyond me. Humanity would be nowhere if animals did not exist in this world. The truth is it is just as bad killing an animal as it is to kill a human, it is murder. Killing one insect by accident is OK, but a herd of cows or a pride of lions is not right. Often, I believe people are equal, if not lower, than other animals.

The Most Disrespectful of All Animals

We have the power to think, visualize and invent things, and it is what caused humans to flourish in the first place. It is such an incredible ability. And yes, we human beings have imaginations, but we also possess self-awareness. So, we have the skill to reflect on our existence. Yet we should have more integrity and compassion.

Indeed, we are the most sophisticated of all animals in this world, yet the most disrespectful. We can speak different languages, cook food, create things, drive a car or fly a plane, and even debate over all kinds of situations. Yet, I am asking you: “If we are more intelligent and have a greater capacity for thought, why are we acting with such disrespect towards this planet and the animals living on it?”

Therefore, the world would be so much better off without our silly ways of thinking we are the best thing on the planet. And yet we act like idiots and treat animals as if they were things! No matter what you may say, people are animals on the inside. We hunt, fight, multiply, group, live, just like any other animal and sometimes even, in a worse way.

Animals Are Not Things

However, through our experiences, we know animals undergo pain and suffering. Scientifically, we realize more and more that many of them exhibit intelligent behaviors. It is unacceptable to think of another person as being less because of the color of their skin or gender. So it is unfair to treat animals disrespectfully. Instead, they deserve respect as much as you and I, if not more.

On this beautiful planet, we are the leading species. Therefore, we have a moral responsibility to protect the interests of all other life on this earth. And it starts with accepting them as equals. Animals are not ours to exploit; they are not toys or things. They are living creatures, just like you and I. For me, it is not if animals can think or speak, but more about “Many are suffering.”

“I hope that one day the time will come when men will look upon the murder and harm of animals as they now look upon the murder of men.” – A wish of Leonardo da Vinci.

A Final Word on Animals

Did you have watch how factory farms or slaughterhouses did their deeds? What if it had glass walls? Could you still be able to look in their eyes and say you cannot see the pain they are enduring? I can’t.

I worked as an assistant for a veterinarian. And at times, I had to look in their eyes before putting them down. They have feelings. So I chose to quit and find a better path to help them!

As a result, I just think animals deserve a chance to live a healthy and happy life. People are not better because they use tools or are bright. And it is just intolerable to exploit innocent creatures, sometimes in very cruel ways. They can feel and sometime think just like us. So, animals deserve respect as much as we do. Let’s start now.

Declining health maybe of natural causes or accidents. Whatever the cause, you should be prepared beforehand just in case the unthinkable happens.

Over time your pet becomes an integral part of the family that goes without saying and sometimes your best friend as well; money stowed away now will come in handy for their future. You just pay a premium amounting to a few notes out of your pocket each month which will benefit you and your pet in the long run. Costs for pet healthcare are on the rise

Technology is becoming better as time lapses, which is why healthcare services for your four pawed companion is becoming expensive. Besides this, some machines often require specially trained staff to operate them and it is you the pet owner who bears the brunt of this additional cost. So, it is always wise to apply for insurance beforehand.

How insurance helps you and your pet

The expenses incurred for obtaining healthcare expenses at one go can be a source of anxiety for some; you might not have money in hand right at that moment. In some cases insurance might be mandatory if the breed you own is the fragile kind; your vet might recommend one for your pet, if he doesn’t you can always discuss it with him.

Tackling emergencies made easier

Times of crisis seldom come knocking. It’s better to opt for insurance at the earliest so you are saved that frustrating moment of nail biting when the digits on the bill stare coldly at your face.

What should you do?

Consider doing some researching on your own to make sure you’ve got the right insurance plan for your cat or dog, else your pet’s vet is a good advisor. Also, everything ought to be clearly spelled out by the insurance provider; from what the insurance covers and the limitations of the insurance. In that manner you will be spared any last minute surprises when you are need.
